Schwallungen has about 2.740 residents and is located in the south of the Freestate of Thuringia in Germany. Schwallungen lies in the idyllic valley of the river Werra between the mountains of the Thurigian Forest and the Rhoen. The commune Schwallungen consists of four villages. At the moment there is no medical practice in our commune. To ensure general medical care for our residents, we are interested in someone who wants to settle down at our site and start a medical practice. There is a surgery owned by the commune administration, which has been closed since the last general practitioner has retired. The office can be reopened at any time and the commune Schwallungen is willing to support the purchase of basic equipment. We will, of course, support you when looking for a new residence.
